ORDERING & SHIPPING
How long does shipping take?+
Most orders ship the same business day. If the item is not currently in stock, please allow up to two weeks.
Where's my order?+
Most orders ship the same business day. If the item is not currently in stock, please allow up to two weeks. You can log into your account to track your order's progress — once it's been cut out, it will appear with a "Cut Out" label, and once it's been assembled, an estimated ship date will appear next to it.
Do you offer free shipping?+
Yes — standard shipping is included in every listed price, with no minimum order. The one exception: larger enclosures (single 18", dual 15", dual 18", or larger) ship via freight to your local freight terminal at no extra cost, where you'll pick up the shipment yourself. If you'd prefer direct-to-door home delivery, with or without liftgate service, that's available as an additional charge shown at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes — in addition to the United States, we ship to Canada and Mexico. International buyers are responsible for any import fees, duties, or taxes their country or government may impose.
Can I cancel or change my order?+
If your order hasn't shipped yet, email us at info@bassheadsupply.com with your order number and we'll take care of it. Once an order ships, we can't cancel — but we do accept returns.
FITMENT & BOX SELECTION
What size subwoofer box do I need?+
The right box size depends on your subwoofer model's recommended airspace (measured in cubic feet) and the type of enclosure. Every subwoofer manufacturer publishes recommended sealed and ported volumes. Our product pages list the net volume and tuning frequency for each enclosure so you can match it to your sub's specs.
How do I know which box fits my subwoofer?+
Every product page lists the net volume, tuning frequency, and cutout size — match those to your subwoofer's manufacturer specs. Not sure which one fits? Email info@bassheadsupply.com with your sub model and we'll point you to the right box. If nothing in our catalog matches exactly, we can build a custom enclosure to your spec — just let us know what you need.
Will these enclosures fit in my vehicle?+
Product pages list external dimensions for every box. Measure the space you plan to install it in — trunk, cargo area, or under-seat — before ordering. Just as important: measure your trunk opening, door opening, or hatch. Those openings are often the real bottleneck, not the space itself; many enclosures fit the cargo area but can't physically make it through the opening. For truck cabs and hatchbacks, our 8" and 10" enclosures are specifically designed for tighter spaces.
Do you build enclosures for specific subwoofer models?+
Yes. We carry enclosures designed for Sundown Audio, DC Audio, Deaf Bonce, JL Audio, Kicker, American Bass, Trinity Audio, and Resilient Sounds — all spec'd to manufacturer recommendations for airspace volume, tuning frequency, and port area. If you don't see your sub listed, contact us and we'll build one for it.
MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
How do I choose between a ported and sealed enclosure?+
Ported boxes are louder and produce deeper bass — best for hip-hop, EDM, and SPL competition. Sealed boxes give tighter, more controlled bass with a smaller footprint — ideal for rock, jazz, and sound-quality builds. Check your subwoofer's small parameters or the manufacturer's documentation for recommendations. Still not sure? Why use Baltic birch plywood instead of MDF?+
Baltic birch is stronger, lighter, and more resonance-resistant than MDF. Our 13-ply and 17-ply panels won't swell from moisture and hold fasteners significantly better — both critical for enclosures handling serious power. MDF is cheaper but heavier, more fragile, and prone to water damage. Every Basshead Supply enclosure uses genuine Baltic birch, never MDF or particle board.
CUSTOM & CUT-TO-SIZE
Can I order a custom enclosure?+
Yes — custom work is a regular part of what we do. Our standard catalog of 240+ designs covers most popular subwoofer models, but we regularly build to spec for unusual dimensions, specific tunings, multi-sub setups, double baffles, extra bracing, and other reinforced builds. Email info@bassheadsupply.com with your requirements and we'll get you a quote.
Do you sell Baltic birch sheets?+
Yes. We sell 18mm and 24mm Baltic birch panels cut to your dimensions on our CNC. See our cut-to-size page for current options and pricing.
What's the minimum order for cut-to-size?+
The minimum cut-to-order size is one piece.
RETURNS, WARRANTY & DAMAGE
What's your return policy?+
We accept returns on unused, undamaged items. Contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and reason. Buyer covers return shipping unless we made an error.
Can I return a subwoofer box if it doesn't fit?+
Yes — we accept returns on unused, undamaged enclosures within 14 days of delivery. Buyer covers return shipping. Double-check dimensions on the product page before ordering to avoid this.
How does the warranty work?+
Products are covered by our 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, starting from the date of original purchase. If your product has a defect, email info@bassheadsupply.com with your order number, photos, and a description of the issue — we'll issue an RMA for repair or replacement. What if my order arrives damaged?+
File a claim through Route shipping protection at claims.route.com — every order is covered, and Route handles the claim directly. Please save all packaging until the claim is resolved; it may be needed as part of the claim. Have your order number (in your order confirmation email) and your tracking number (on the shipping label and in your shipment email) ready when you file.
